Bliss Worrell

My name is Bliss, and that's what it's like to take a class with me--BLISS!

Show me a spin studio, and I will pack it out with my infectious energy and inspiring music. I always arrive to class early to put new riders at ease and walk them through proper bike set up.  I take the time to explain speed, resistance and power in simple terms that set each rider up for success by helping them feel in control of their workout. As a team, the class will tackle challenges like mountains, sprints and power tabatas that leave us sweaty and exuberant from our hard-earned endorphin high! HIIT is my happy place, but I cue technique and modifications in a positive and encouraging way that makes riders of all fitness and experience levels feel completely at home. My class is NOT your average "cycle" class—we use the bike as a tool to build and challenge our cardiovascular endurance, and when time and format permit, we also enjoy mixing in some off-bike upper body and core circuits. I love the creative freedom of choreographing hard-hitting rides and circuits with rocking beats that help participants push to their max, and no one can top my themed rides! One ride with me will leave newbies in love with the bike, and veterans begging for more! 

If cycle is the dessert my participants can't get enough of, strength training is the vegetables. EVERYONE needs veggies, so we have to make them craveable! Anyone who doesn't like veggies just hasn't found the right kind prepared well... and the same is true of strength training! The most sustainable workouts are the ones people love, so I put tremendous time and effort into creating well-prepared strength workouts that are as fun as they are beneficial. For all of the GroupEx participants out there like me who just don't love solo workouts on the main gym floor, GroupEx Boot Camp and Strength HIIT/Tabata workouts are the best thing since roasted garlic green beans!  Every exercise has modifications to accommodate all abilities, and I will expertly guide each participant through a safe and effective workout. 

Fun fact: I'm also a former litigator, a current stay at home mama of 2, and a published children's book author!
