Shanthi Jayarajah is a clinical counsellor, as well as a Yoga Teacher, Chi Running Chi Walking Instructor, and a Certified personal trainer. She has been working in both the counselling and fitness fields for over 15 years, and is passionate about finding ways to combine these fields to help others connect with inner strengths, challenge themselves both physically and mentally, and achieve holistic wellness.
Shanthi’s fitness experience includes both group and one on one exercise, yoga, and Chi running instruction for youth and adults. As she has both experienced and seen amazing goals that have been reached through belief in oneself and determination, she loves combining clinical counselling and personal training to inspire and help others to overcome obstacles, discover their potential and achieve their dreams.
Shanthi loves being physically active in a variety of settings. She participates in full and half marathons, snowboarding, kayaking, and strength training workouts. Shanthi also loves challenging herself by learning different types of physical activities. Some of these activities include surfing, and Muay Thai Kickboxing. These experiences have shown her the rewards of challenging herself, and the importance of maintaining a positive attitude.
