As a lifelong athletic, avid hiker and backpacker Suzi has always understood the benefits and importance of strength training and stretching but it was not until she was recovering from ACL surgery that she discovered yoga.
Looking for a way to undo the tightness and loss of flexibility after six months of physical therapy, Suzi enrolled in a yoga class and was instantly hooked. Not only did she gain the physical benefits she was searching for but as an added bonus, she found mental peace and clarity.
While based in San Francisco for a project, Suzi explored various types of yoga and became certified as a 200 hour teacher. Fortunate to retire early, she spends time hiking around the globe and sharing yoga with any interested hikers. Her favorite style of yoga is whatever her body is craving at that moment and she happy to help other yogis make that connection with their mind, body, and spirit.
