Lisa Flynn

Lisa Flynn, E-RYT 500, RCYT, YACEP, has been teaching yoga for nearly 20 years. She founded and scaled two wellness brands before passing the reins to new ownership - ChildLight Yoga (2005-2019) and Yoga 4 Classrooms (2007-2023) with a mission to empower youth with the skills they need to healthy, happy, resilient at school, at home and throughout their lives. She is also author of several books including the Yoga 4 Classrooms Activity Card Deck; Yoga for Children: 200+ Yoga Poses, Breathing Exercises and Meditations for Healthier, Happier, More Resilient Children; and Yoga for Children–Yoga Cards: 50+ Yoga and Mindfulness Activities for Kids. As a international yoga teacher, presenter, trainer and consultant, Lisa has supported educators, counselors, school leaders and entire school districts in sustainably implementing yoga, mindfulness and social-emotional learning to support stress resilience and learning. Her work and books have been featured in media outlets including Yoga Journal, Yoga Therapy Today, Fox News, Education Week, Forbes, Yoga Greater Good, and HuffPost Parents, among others. 

Lisa continues to share her love of yoga and mindfulness at local studios and throughout her community. Her classes and workshops include gentle/beginner and intermediate, yin, restorative, and supported chair yoga - each leaving clients feeling present, peaceful and strong. With a warm, accessible personality, Lisa connects with and empowers yoga practitioners of all ages and abilities. 

In addition to teaching yoga, Lisa is currently pursuing certifications in Functional Nutrition, Rapid Transformation Therapy, and Integrative Cancer Coaching in hopes of supporting those diagnosed with and recovering from cancer as well as those interested in releasing limiting beliefs and negative emotional patterns. She lives on the Seacoast of Maine, USA where she serves on the local school board and the area's historic district commission. When she's not teaching, studying or volunteering, you'll find her soaking up family time and adventures with her husband, two young adult children and extended family.
