I am a 54 y/o single dad of a daughter Leanna. I was born and raised in Orlando, Florida and have lived in Florida my entire life. I was a active baseball player in high school and college and also coached little league baseball for 2 years. After baseball, I played travel slow pitch softball for 25 years and traveled the United States doing so. After putting down my softball bat and glove, I picked up pickleball and fell in love with the sport. Learning the game and all the new equipment as been fun. I play 5 days a week and love the sport. I recently was certified by PPR as a pickleball coach and love to teach new players the skill and strategy of the game.
I retired as a firefighter after 30 years list past year in 2023. I am a certified EMT and Paramedic as well. During my time in the fire service, I was a adjunct professor at Seminole State College teaching Fire School minimum standards for 22 years. I also retired from that teaching spot in 2022 as my time in the fire service was coming to a close. Now I focus my time on my daughter who is 9 years old and playing pickleball. I have played in 6 tournaments and have medal is 4 of those, just winning a gold medal in Pictona, Florida golden ticket event.
