I have worked for the YMCA for over 15 years. My inolvment has ranged from direct program delivery including adult personal fitness program such as personal training and running group, I have been certified to teach a variety of group fitness classes. I have been in management positions responsible for human resources, program development, budgets of up to 3.5 million. I have managed full services health, fitness and recreation facilities in Ontario and Alberta.Over the years I have been certified in personal training, aerobics, spinning, step, strength and stretch, kickboxing, aquafitness. I have taken Stott Pilates Mat instructor course, and have become a YMCA Canada Trainer Educator which develops and trains new fitness instructors. I also have been part of the selection committee and a presentor at YMCA Ontario Fitness Conferences.In my managment position I continue to teach several classes per week. I am a advid runner who trains for both full and 1/2 marathons as well as triathalons.Professionally and personally I demonstrate and role model health & fitness and enjoy opportunities where I can share my education and skills in assisting others acheive active lifestyles.
