Natasha is a unique teacher and student alike in her approach to life! To "teach is to learn" resonates, as she believes that these entities are one in the same. As an academic teacher, yoga teacher for children and adults, lacrosse coach, creative writing leader, botanist, dancer, and school student, Natasha feels that it is her right to give back in gratitude for all she has been given. Believing that love drives every action, Natasha inspires her students through a combination of rhythmic poetry, utilizing the language of words, equally attuned with the language of the body. It is through these balanced languages vested in love that we realize the interconnectedness of all beings while simultaneously growing to love thyself. Natasha loves to read, especially Greek mythology, and all things Harry Potter; Additionally, Natasha truly enjoys being a student and a teacher of yoga, and anything that has to do with being on the water, whether that’s a bathtub, a lake or at the beach! Henry David Thoreau revered, “Live the life you’ve imagined. Go confidently in the direction of your dreams.” Natasha's magical path to love and light feels nothing short of enlightenment, as imagination has flourished transformation, acceptance, and of course, a continued awareness that the divine mother is always with us; the signs embedded in mother nature serve to remind us we are never alone, not really anyway. Yoga has led Natasha to align her mind and body, creating a removal of toxicity and a renewal of childhood nostalgia: a return home, in ohm, to self. It is through the story of one’s heart, and the rewards of experiences unfolding in correlation with the universe’s plan, that we can truly allow our light to radiate! The light that brightens our way exists within each being on planet earth; Through yoga, we give ourselves permission to shine our light, to make bright right, and to glow wherever we may go! As Natasha recalls Krishna Das, she endeavors that we commit to sound foundations: Befriend those less fortunate than us, effortlessly revert to childhood blessings, and remember to not only celebrate, but nourish “a heart as wide as the ocean.”
