- Ashley Kney
Ashley Kney is a distinguished yoga teacher and co founder of The Practice Buffalo, a yoga studio with two locations in Buffalo, New York. With a deep-rooted passion for yoga and a mission to inspire positive change, she has become a guiding light in the realm of mind-body wellness. Ashley started yoga as a compliment to her running schedule. She was immediately drawn to the transformative power of yoga and its ability to cultivate both physical and mental strength. She soon started practicing yoga more than she was running. Motivated to share the profound benefits of yoga, Ashley pursued formal training and earned 200 hour yoga alliance certification in Baptiste Power Yoga. Under the guidance of esteemed mentors, she deepened her understanding of asanas, pranayama, and meditation aspects of yoga. Known for her upbeat and empowering teaching style, Ashley believes in creating a supportive and joy filled space for students to explore their practice. She encourages mindful awareness, emphasizes the connection between breath and movement, and tailors classes to meet the diverse needs of practitioners. Fueled by a vision to create a vibrant community centered around well-being, Ashley co-founded The Practice Buffalo. The studio reflects her commitment to providing a welcoming haven where individuals of all levels and backgrounds can experience the transformative power of yoga. Beyond the studio walls, Ashley actively engages with the community, organizing events, workshops, and volunteering at her kids school. She is dedicated to making yoga accessible to a broader audience and believes in the potential of yoga to bring about positive change in individuals and communities.
