- Zach White
My name is Zach White. I am 34 years old and have been playing tennis all of my life. I am originally from Canada and now live in Rochester NY with my wife and young daughter, Sophie. I have been teaching tennis and pickleball for the last 10 years and am currently the Director of Junior Tennis at Midtown Athletic Club.
I was able to reach a career high of # 1 in Canada under 18 and top 75 in the world. I went on to play professional tennis and division 1 college tennis at Mississippi State University. I have lived abroad for many years training and traveling for tennis and was able to play 2/4 junior grand slams and 1 mens Master 1000 ATP event. Needless to say I have a very high level of play and experience. In the last 4 years I have picked up pickleball and have fallen in love with it. I am a 5.0 level player with a few tournament wins under my belt. I have have won three 5.0 mixed doubles events, two 5.0 mens events and podiumed a few more.
As I transition to coaching I have gain experience in the following, red ball (ages 4 -8) Orange ball (ages 9 - 11), Green Ball (ages 12-13), Junior Varsity, Varsity, High Performance, Adult instruction, Adult Cardio Tennis and have hosted many events, match plays and tournaments for children and adults of all ages. I have also been teaching pickleball for the last years to adults and juniors. I have also had the opportunity to assist and lead in multiple NET generation workshops for coach education. Finally, my junior program has been selected 3 times to take 24 kids on center court at the US Open grand slam event.
I have lived a life of travel and would love to use my experience as way to help our family travel to incredible places and create unforgettable memories as have done so for so many years. using sport as a way to see the world has been so valuable to me and created such a rich and cultured life. I would love nothing more than to give this opportunity to my family.
