Hello all, please see below a little bit about myself and my path in the zumba world.

I was born in the state of Paraná, Brazil. And began my relationship with dance at a very young age, where I took ballet and jazz classes. Brazil is a rich country with a great culture of dance and all its life thereafter always included one form of dance or another. I moved to the United States in 2000. In 2008 I became an assistant to Beto Pérez, co-founder of Zumba Fitness. While working for Beto, I was intimately exposed to all the operation of Zumba, its infrastructure and its culture, and gained valuable experience and love for the program. Therefore, I became a ZIN instructor in January 2008. I juggled my work as an assistant and instructor of Zumba until 2011, when I opened my own dance academy and a little later started to teach trainings around the world. The ZUMBA® BRAZILIAN CARNIVAL session that was part of the Zumba Convention and Conference around the world is an idea I had and that I implemented together with my good friend and compatriot Fabio Barros. I was a presenter of this session at the Zumba Convention from 2009 until 2017, also presenter of the conferences in London and Los Angeles and Zumba Academy in Mexico, London and Germany. Brazilian Carnival was also a ZIN favorite at the annual Instructors Convention held in Orlando, Florida. I also was blessed to be part of other events like the Zumba Fitness concert at the Zumba Convention 2009, 2010 and 2011 and also in London in 2011. I have also danced with singers Pitbull and Don Omar representing Zumba®. I also had the opportunity to be in several instructional DVDs of Zumba, namely: -DVD of Exhilarate consumer videos; DVD Zumbatomic 2011; Zumba Fitness World Party - video game; Flavors DVD 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 -WORLD RHYTHMS: BRAZIL E-LEARNING; ZIN 60 and ZIN 69; also a small participation on ZIN 81.
