As a small business owner, I am able to work my professional schedule around my fitness program! I  teach my group fitness classes at the local health club in the mornings before buckling down at my desk the rest of the day! What I enjoy most about being a group fitness instructor is the social aspect. I have met and made so many friends and find it very rewarding when they begin to make fitness a regular part of their life. That is what is really imprtant to me. Not just those who workout to lose a bunch of weight and then you never see them again. I love the new member who joins the program and sticks with it for the long haul! Those are the folks I really get close to.

With 15 years of experience, I teach a variety of classes including strength, cardio, dance, tabata, water aerboics, and some yoga. I enjoy adding variety to my workout by bringing new ideas, exercises, equipment, etc. into the mix.  I have learned to develop a total body workout with whatever equipment is available, even when there is no equipment at all!  Being albe to do that makes showing up as a guest instructor at a new resort that much easier!
