Jennifer Danielson , MA, Psy.D, LP, RYT 200

 

Jennifer has been a devoted student and practitioner of yoga since 2008. She teaches Vinyasa, Yin, Prenatal, Yoga Nidra, and Restorative Yoga interwoven with meditations on mindfulness and mind- body connection. She is a graduate of Radiant Life Yoga Teacher Training and a certified 200-hour Yoga Alliance Certified instructor.  She has also trained in Yin Yoga, Prana Stretch, Somatic Yoga, and Trauma Informed Yoga.  Jennifer's goal as a teacher is to cultivate and support a diverse mind-body experience that empowers and enriches the lives of her students both on and off the mat. Her vibrant teaching style incorporates intention, pranayama, chakras, meditation, and mindfulness. She believes in challenging her students to explore both their physical and mental limitations by perception control. She believes yoga practice can bring clarity, congruence with the Highest Self, and allow for one to become fully awake to their limitless potential. She integrates many eastern and western philosophies into her practice, such as mindfulness based stress reduction, imagery, progressive muscle relaxation, tapping, and body awareness work. Her goal is to have students leave class feeling renewed and refreshed. Off the mat, she also works as a licensed clinical psychologist which gives her a unique perspective on the mind-body connection. She also enjoys designing hand-crafted jewelry, mentoring, nature, and being with family.
