I have been a Yogi, martial artist and athlete for forty years. My first Fitness Instructor Teacher course was completed at the YMCA, in June 1980, since then, I have embraced many movement activities in addition to Yoga and martial arts.  Body Movement has always been an important part of my life philosophy in health and wellness. I been fortunate to learn and been inspired by many great teachers and coaches.I have deepened my own knowledge of these areas, which I like to teach and share. I love to teach many styles of Yoga including Vinyasa Flow, Warrior Sculpt, Hatha and Yin. I am passionate teaching Meditation and breathwork classes to learners who, wish to keep their minds and bodies in a state of balance.

I have received these certifications. Meditation Based Stress Reduction Facilitation Certificate from the Centre for Mindfulness, YOGA Teacher Training, 500 RYT, Psychological & Crisis Intervention Teacher Certification, Can Fit Pro Personal Trainer Specialist, Twist Conditioning Coaching Program, Sports Strengthening and Sports Balance Certification,Martial Arts Coach and Mentor,Jun Fan Kung Fu- Black Belt Award, Filipino Kali/Eskrima- Brown Belt Award, Gracie Jiu Jitsu Blue belt.

I began my career as a Paramedic in Toronto Canada and have been involved in Emergency First Response and Healthcare for over 35 years, as a Paramedic (retired) and Healthcare Educator.

I would describe myself as Yogi, Husband,Father,Mentor,Student and survivor. Striving to be my best self. My intention is pursue new areas of knowledge which continue to benefit myself and others.

I am particularly interested in how yoga, meditation and mindfulness enhance mental health and improve quality of life. Movement, breath and mindfulness are key pillars in my own emotional well-being. I bend so I don’t break! Yoga has inspired me to support individuals dealing with anxiety, addiction, trauma, stress, illness, and depression and to encourage more men towards Yoga and movement based practices.

At home I enjoy spending time with my family, practicing yoga, mountain biking, swimming and hikes on the beautiful trails in Caledon Ontario, together with my wife and life-partner of thirty-five years, three wonderful grown children and our German Shepard, Jaxx.
