Sylvia has been teaching yoga since 2018, and practicing since 2009. She came to yoga at the urging of her husband and the promise that it might help with hip injuries from running. It did! And Sylvia grew to love yoga for all it offered, not just the strengthening and stretching. Since then, she has taught in studio, community, school, college, church, and retreat settings. She is a versatile teacher, covering active practices such as vinyasa flow, and more meditative practices such as yin and restore. She has taught yoga to a wide variety of students, from kindergarteners to the wheelchair bound. Sylvia loves introducing people to yoga. It's important to her to show that yoga is for everybody and for every BODY.
