I started practising yoga in about 2009 and eventually started my teacher training in late 2018.

Yoga allowed me to make room for myself in a busy city. It helped me build my emotional resilience as well as my physical strength and has given me opportunities to meet people and make new friends.

In my classes, I focus on fostering confidence, control and calm through a combination of yogasana, pranayama, meditation and yoga nidra. Through physical movement and breath, I encourage students to find strength and stability in their practice.

Since my foundation training, I have completed additional teacher training and was so inspired to learn more about the human body that I decided to go back to university and train as a physiotherapist. After nearly 2 decades working within the arts and cultural sector, this has been a huge transition and I’ve learnt a lot about myself during my studies as well as building my knowledge in a new field. I qualified in 2023 and have learnt so much from my wonderful teachers and patients.

My teaching is informed by all of these experiences and is developing as I continue to learn. Join me on the mat and let’s find room to breathe!
