Hello there, I’m Dr. Sean Corcoran, and I’m on a mission to blend the soothing practices of yoga with the transformative power of occupational therapy, all while exploring the world one beautiful destination at a time. My journey into the realms of health and well-being began with a fascination for the intricate workings of the human body. Pursuing my passion, I earned my Doctorate in occupational therapy in 2024 which has allowed me to enhance the lives of others through tailored therapeutic interventions. Yoga found me during a time when I was seeking balance amidst life’s stress and challenges. Embarking on my 200-hour yoga teacher training, I discovered not just a physical practice, but a profound journey inward. As someone who finds solace in the gentle flow of movement and the rhythm of the breath, I found my calling in the serene embrace of yoga. In my heart-centered approach to teaching, I specialize in gentle yoga with a restorative touch. Guiding practitioners through nurturing postures and mindful breathing, I aim to create sacred spaces where individuals can unwind, rejuvenate, and reconnect with their inner peace. My restorative yoga sessions are not just about the poses; they’re about honoring the body’s wisdom and embracing self-compassion at every step. As a Doctor of Occupational Therapy, I seamlessly blend my clinical expertise with the ancient wisdom of yoga. Drawing upon my understanding of anatomy, biomechanics, and therapeutic techniques, I offer a holistic approach to wellness that addresses both the physical and emotional aspects of healing. When I’m not guiding yoga practices or working with patients, you can find me on my local rivers with a fly-rod in hand and my beloved golden retriever by my side.
