Lauren Carter

Lauren Carter has a lifelong passion for dance, fitness, and music!  She began ballet at the age of 2, piano age 5, acting age 5, and singing age 9! She trained throughout her life in various styles of dance including ballet, tap, jazz, salsa, tango, swing, hiphop, ballroom.  She is certified Zumba Instructor with current Zin License and CPR/AED training. She is also a professional singer and earned her Bachelor of Music, Vocal Performance from Northwestern University with a minor in Musical Theatre and her Masters Degree in Music, Vocal Performance from University of Southampton in the UK.  Her busy voice studio has included world famous artists such as Petite Biscuit, Tiffany Young, Madison Lintz, Jeb Carty, Kristiane Alphson and more.  Her credits as a performer include Buffy in the world premiere of 'A Wedding' at Lyric Opera of Chicago, directed by Robert Altman, singing at private events for such clients as De Beers in London, the world premiere of 'Paix a Peyresq' at the Lighthouse theatre in Poole, England and more.  Her original song 'American Dream' peaked at #6 on the dance charts in Germany and Switzerland.  As a model, she has been featured in such publications as US Maxim, US Sports Illustrated, FHM Norway, GQ Mexico and more.  She is currently the staff soprano at St Cross Episcopalian Church in Hermosa Beach and is the Zumba Instructor at 24 Hour Fitness in Santa Monica, CA and at Icon Fitness at Park La Brea residences in West Hollywood, CA.
