As a Yoga Alliance certified 200-hour RYT, I bring 12 years of yoga experience allowing me to guide students towards holistic wellness through the practice of yoga. With a rich background spanning over 30 years in professional dance and dance instruction, my teaching is imbued with grace, precision, and a deep understanding of movement. My dedication to injury prevention stems from my own experience in multiple decades of pain management and physical therapy, fostering a keen awareness of the body's mechanics and the significance of strength and stability. Complementing my yoga instruction, I have completed certifications in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction at UCSF and Leadership Coaching at Emory University, further enhancing my ability to support students in their journey towards mental and physical well-being.
