Hello, I'm Parul! With over 20 years of dedicated practice and certification in Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin Yoga, Somatic, and Yoga Nidra, I bring a deep and diverse experience to my teaching. My early exposure to yoga through the study of the Bhagavad Gita as a Hindu fostered a profound connection to yogic philosophy, which has guided my practice from a very young age.
In my professional life as a management consultant, I found yoga to be an invaluable source of mindfulness and stress relief. This experience was particularly poignant during the pandemic, where I focused on offering corporate yoga classes to foster connection and well-being away from the isolation and daily work demands of my students. I am equally passionate about chakra healing, and focus on the chakras as thematic movement for students who desire deeper stress or trauma release.
In my classes, I seamlessly integrate yogic teachings with the physicality of asanas, creating a balanced environment where philosophy enriches practice. My approach is energetic and playful, encouraging students to find freedom and joy in their movements, deepening the connection between mind, body, and spirit. I encourage my students to embrace listening to what their bodies are telling them, and offer modifications and adjustments as permitted. I enjoy crafting yoga flows for varying levels of yoga experience, largely based on the outcomes the students or group hopes to achieve.
I am passionate about making yoga accessible and enjoyable, helping each student explore their personal journey and discover tranquility on the mat that resonates throughout their everyday lives.
