Stephanie Stanfield

Stephanie Stanfield, MEd, RYT500, RN, RD, LDN – lifelong learner.  Guiding yoga since 2019.  I found yoga later in life – realizing non-judgement and self-acceptance.  I work full time as a registered nurse and registered dietitian.  Yoga is my antidote to a busy life – teaching me to slow down.  I became obsessed with the psychological (mental) and physiological (physical) benefits of the practice of yoga.  Yoga has helped me in my journey with grief of the death of mother in 2021 and my father in 2023.  Yoga teaches to tune out the external world and tune into the internal world while finding rest on your mat.  Yoga wants you to come as you are, without judgement or expectations and just . .  .be.  I wish for others to experience yoga (with or without movement) and observe sensations that arise (welcoming what arises) with loving kindness.  I hold space and guide the practice of Slow Flow, Restorative, Yin, Gravity and Buti yoga.  All levels are welcome.  My mantra is, “I guide and you decide . . . as you are your best teacher.”
