My name is Dr. Kristi Macklin, and I am a meditation and yoga teacher dedicated to helping women cultivate a practice of mindfulness, self-care, and self-love.
My journey with meditation and yoga began over 10 years ago, when I was searching for ways to manage my own stress and anxiety. As a Black woman, I recognized the importance of self-care and the need to prioritize my own well-being in a society that often undervalues and neglects the needs of Black women. Through my own practice, I discovered the power of meditation and the transformative effects it can have on our lives.
I am certified in Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra, and Mindfulness. As a teacher, I am committed to creating a safe and inclusive space for women to explore these practices and to connect with their own inner wisdom and strength. I bring a compassionate and nurturing approach to my teaching, and I strive to meet each student where they are and support them in their own journey.
I am committed to my own growth and development as a teacher, and I continue to study and learn from a variety of traditions and teachers. I am grateful for the opportunity to share these practices with others, and I look forward to supporting you on your own journey towards greater peace, joy, and well-being.
