Rose Locco

With more than 5 years as a Pickleball Player and as an NCCP Certified Pickleball Instructor, through Tennis Canada and Pickleball Canada, Rose brings both passion and expertise to the court, helping new players learn the sport in an easy to understand and fun way.  She is easy going, patient and understanding. 

Rose began her love of the sport on her trips to Florida and after playing just one game at Vero Beach back in 2014, she was hooked!!! 

She also loves cycling, rowing, swimming, badminton, kayaking, volleyball and table tennis, but Pickleball in her books ranks number 1, playing 2-4 times (sometimes more) per week, plus she runs weekly Learn To Play group and one on one Clinics for beginners and other Clinics for intermediate players. 

You can also see her instructing weekly at YMCA Oakville, Ontario, Canada.   

Rose owns and manages Maple Leaf Pickleball (mapleleafpickleball.org) her 700+ member (and growing) Pickleball Club year round, located in the heart of the beautiful city of Burlington, Ontario, Canada.

Annually she puts together major sponsored Tournaments for all levels including kids tournaments starting from ages 8+. The club also participates in fund raising throughout the year for local charity organizations and partners with other sports organizations to raise awareness of the importance of sports. 

Rose is also a Certified Career and Business Coach and previous business owner. She has travelled all over the world, an avid classics reader, has an eclectic taste in music and loves movies and popcorn!

She lives with her family in Burlington, Ontario, Canada.
