I am lifelong student of movement and mind/body practices and love to teach and practice yoga, dance, and pilates.  I trained in gymnastics to the competition level and then taught for three years. Gymnastics gave me a great background for movement and fitness work and I bring this bodily awareness to my classes. I teach several styles of yoga, including vinyasa, hatha, and slow flow.  I am a dance lover and have trained in several styles, including ballet, hip hop, African Carribbean, and Irish. I am a member of Leigh Purtill Ballet Company and love bringing the grace and extension of ballet to my classes. I also teach Zumba and Irish Ceíli (at the Celtic Arts Center) and happy to share my love of Irish culture anytime. I love the way essential oils support my physical and emotional wellness and that is how I came to be training for my certification in aromatherapy. Lastly I love singing, chanting, and mantra and I seek ways to integrate these healing modalities in my classes & workshops.
