Charlotte Frei

Charlotte first tried yoga in 2007 while looking for low intensity movement to recover from ACL replacement surgery. Since then she has regularly practiced a number of styles (including Hatha, Vinyasa, Bikram, Anusara, Yin, Restorative, Pre-Natal and Post-Natal/Mom & Tot) with teachers throughout the US. A regular yoga practice has always been key to managing anxiety through graduate school and life changes, and Charlotte is eager to share the mental and physical benefits of yoga in her classes.

Charlotte's Vinyasa classes combine grounded breathing exercises with mindful postures to emphasize self-awareness for strength, stability, and flexibility. Students should expect a focus on physical alignment and curated playlists. Charlotte's goals for herself and her students are exceptional physical alignment and attention to one's mind in order to cultivate a practice that uplifts body and spirit.

Charlotte also regularly steps in for Hatha and Anusara teachers who are traveling. As a sub in these modalities, Charlotte teaches a slower-paced but ever-mindful class. Studio clients are generally experienced yogis who live in the area or are visiting. Teaching at the local 'rec center' serves a broad community client base, and visitors can also purchase a day pass. Students tend to be practicing yoga as a supplemental aspect of their fitness activities such as weight training, cardio, skiing, swimming, and rock climbing. Charlotte can dynamically serve a variety of skill levels in a large group format.
