I stumbled upon yoga during his college years while grappling with stress and insomnia. The practice profoundly impacted his life, prompting him to pursue teacher training after earning his degree in environmental science. Now a 500-hour certified yoga instructor, Zain specializes in vinyasa and restorative yoga. He spent six months deepening his practice in Rishikesh, India, an experience that continues to influence his teaching style. Zain divides his time between leading classes at local studios and organizing mindfulness retreats in nature preserves. His teaching philosophy centers on making yoga accessible to all, emphasizing the connection between mind, body, and the natural world. Outside the studio, Zain is an avid rock climber and amateur botanist. He resides in a renovated vintage Airstream trailer with his cat, Prana, and can often be found tending to his small vegetable garden when not on his mat.
