Michele White

In the quiet moments of a prenatal yoga class, I discovered more than just physical fitness. What began as a search for a way to stay in shape during my pregnancy turned into a profound lifeline—one that would heal me physically, spiritually, mentally, and emotionally.

Growing up with a love for dance and movement, I naturally gravitated toward the benefits of yoga. In 2007, I embarked on my formal training with YogaFit, and in 2009, I completed my 200-hour certification with the White Lotus Foundation in Santa Barbara, CA. But my journey didn’t end there. I am also certified in Anti-Gravity Yoga and aerial yoga using the silk hammock.

Driven by a passion to understand how yoga could strengthen both mind and body, I continued My education. I delved into Restorative Yoga, training under the guidance of Judith Hanson Lasater in 2018. But my exploration didn’t stop at asanas and breath work.

Energy work became a focal point. As a certified Reiki Master/Teacher, I tapped into the subtle energies that flow through us. I also embraced Biofield Tuning, using sound healing to harmonize the body’s energy centers.

As a yoga teacher, I witnessed the transformative power of my practice. Students shared stories of feeling better, healing, and living more fully. Their words fueled my passion.

Outside of teaching yoga, I cherish my family—the lights of my life. My husband, an unwavering supporter, encourages my growth. I have two adult children, 5 step children and two darling grandchildren. They all keep me moving and exploring. I love to travel and be outdoors where the true healing of nature is essential.

In the words of B.K.S. Iyengar, I live by this truth: “Yoga teaches us to cure what need not be endured and endure what cannot be cured.”
