I am interested in continuing my participation in the visiting tennis pro program. Since 1997 I have been a visiting tennis pro at the following resorts: Ciboney (twice), Half Moon Bay, Hedonism, Hedonism II, F.D.R. Resort, Breezes Montego Bay, San Souci Lido, Playa Del Carmen, Grand Lido Braco and Grand Lido Negril (twice). Recently, I began a new career working for myself as a money manager. I have a lot of flexibility with taking time off to travel and would like to stay involved with tennis. I am 50 years old, always stay in very good shape and can still play tennis at a high level. In the past, I worked through Mark Burns (Professional Coaches Association) to arrange my trips. I have an extensive background in tennis as a player and a coach. Below is a brief summary of my tennis experience. USPTA Professional 1 Bachelors degree in Marketing and Management from Illinois State University Played 4 years of varsity tennis, voted MVP sophomore year, captain senior year Tennis Instructor at Champaign Park District Indoor Tennis Center (1988-2006) Head Tennis Professional at Foothills Swim & Tennis Club (1988-1990) Head Tennis Professional at Lincolnshire Fields Country Club (1991-2002) Head Tennis Coach at Champaign Centennial High School (1988-2007) (coached 2 state title teams in Illinois) Finished 1st or 2nd in over 170 tournaments Have earned many U.S.T.A. section and district rankings in the junior, men's open and 35 & over divisions In 1995, named Middle Illinois Tennis Association Tennis Coach of the Year and Illinois High School Girls Tennis Coach of the Year
