Marksman Peralta

I was born and raised in the Philippines, and I’m currently a Canadian citizen. I work as an automotive technician, but I’ve always had a love for dance. I used to be a professional hip hop dancer in the 90s, but I took a different path in life and stopped dancing and exercising. Then, I had surgery on my lymph node due to TB. I got weaker and weaker, and I was always in pain. I went to a Zumba class once, and I could feel my body just come alive. I couldn’t stop moving and dancing, and I felt so good. So I decided to become a Zumba instructor, because teaching takes my pain away and makes me happy. I’m currently teaching Zumba at multiple gyms around the city.
