Kathy White

My name is Kathy White.  I reside in Maple Ridge, British Columbia, Canada.  I have been teaching fitness for over 30 years in and around the Lower Mainland of British Columbia.

I work at the BC Institute of Technology (BCIT) in Health Sciences and also teach fitness classes to students and staff at BCIT.  During the pandemic, when we had to cease in-person classes, I started an online fitness business which has been thriving ever since, with more of my participants able to attend classes from the comfort of their home.  

When I am not working or teaching fitness, my hobbies are spending time with my husband and 2 grown boys as well as our family dog (Abby).  We enjoy hiking, golfing and travelling.  I have taught for many years in resorts in Mexico and Jamaica through other exchange programs as well as organized and taught fitness classes aboard cruise ships to the Caribbean.  I really like resort teaching because I get to meet people from all over the world and show them my love of fitness.  Hopefully I make an impact so they can continue their fitness journey when they return home.
