My Name is Kerry Kotylak and I am a certified Yoga Instructor with 250 hours of teacher training.
I’ve been practicing Yoga for 25 years, teaching for 7. I fell in love with the athleticism of Ashtanga and Power yoga almost at first practice. The physical and emotional benefits have helped with every aspect of my life. To share my passion and hold space for others to discover the benefits of this magical practice has been a gift.
I predominantly teach Power and Hatha classes, but, I have experience teaching Yin and Restorative practices as well. I see the body as a puzzle and take pride in putting together thoughtful and accessible classes. There are always options to do a little less or to challenge yourself a little more! No one gets left behind. I love to have fun and always find room for humour and play in my classes. I’ve said many times that I take the practice of yoga very seriously, especially when putting together my sequence but I don’t take myself too seriously! It’s all about balance. I am also a lifelong student evolving and learning from my colleagues, continuing education and various workshops.
Personally I have overcome back pain from repetitive stress injuries, abdominal surgeries and structural issues to be living pain free and extremely mobile!
