Practicing yoga and sharing its healing powers gives me great joy! As a young Special Education teacher in the early 1990s I found yoga, especially breath work and guided meditation, to be calming (and therapeutic) for my students with autism. After retiring from education I received my yoga teacher certification RYT-200 in 12/2023. I then completed an Initiate of Neelakantha Meditation, a deep meditation practice through Blue Throat Yoga and Dr. Paul Muller-Ortega 1/2024. Most recently I have discovered the Buddhist meditation practice of vipassana and will attend a 10 day silent retreat in January 2026. Yoga has shown me the path to a balanced lifestyle and my dream is to share it!
