Suzanne Disheroon

Suzanne is a fitness enthusiast and certified personal trainer.  She believes in making fitness fun and sustainable and in helping people keep moving! She is a specialist in senior fitness and women's fitness, focusing on the challenges of making exercise safe and effective for these populations. 

Suzanne started her fitness journey over 5 years ago, starting with changing her life by losing 190 pounds -- an entire person! She now engages in a wide variety of exercise modalities, and she liked some of them so well that she learned to teach them!  She is a certified bungee instructor and a master bungee fitness trainer, and most recently earned certification to teach POUND Rockout Workout; she will soon be offering Pound Unplugged classes, too.

POUND Rockout Workout marries a high-intensity, interval, total-body workout with awesome, pumping music and lightweight Rip Sticks that extend the length of the arms, turning them in to powerful levers that work muscle groups without the need of heavy weights or a lot of equipment.  POUND Unplugged is a 30-minute workout that begins with the HIIT work found in the original POUND and finishes with flexibility, mindfulness, and breath work to wrap up the session.
