Dan Burke

I began my coaching journey at just 14 years old, while simultaneously pursuing my dream of becoming a professional tennis player. Throughout my teenage years, I earned provincial and national junior rankings, and was on track to receive a scholarship in the U.S. when an injury abruptly redirected my path. While my competitive career may have come to an end, my passion for coaching never wavered. I dedicated the next decade to coaching full-time, and later transitioned to part-time work after returning to university to pursue a career that placed less physical strain on my body.

Now, as I approach retirement, I feel an overwhelming desire to return to the court and share the gift of tennis with others. My goal is to create an environment that is both professional and light-hearted, where passion for the game shines through in every lesson. I want my clients to leave each session inspired and eager to return, rekindling the joy of tennis for players of all levels.

I am currently coaching at a state-of-the-art tennis facility in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. My students range from ambitious young athletes striving for provincial and national titles to senior recreational players looking to refine their skills and enjoy the game. My greatest accomplishment is being recognized as the coach who is always smiling—known for creating a positive, energetic, and encouraging environment for every player I work with.
