Erick Amaya

Hello, 

My name is Erick Amaya-Gonzalez. 

I am Regional Sales Manager for a finance company. Have an Associate's Degree in Business Management & Marketing. I am an Fitness Instructor - Licensed Zumba and Strong Nation Instructor. I have always believed in staying fit through eating right and exercising and I have tried many different routines. However, when I tried Zumba, I fell in love with it and now I want to share my enthusiasm with others. 

I pursued this goal by visiting the official Zumba Academy website and signing up for this area's Zumba Basic 1 Instructor class. I completed the entry-level
instructor training course and received my one-year license. Through this class, I learned how to create a playlist and choreograph dance techniques to the music. I worked as a Zumba Instructor at the Woodson YMCA in Wausau, Wisconsin from 08/2019 until January 2022 which makes a total of 2 years and 6 months of teaching and learning experience working with the communities. I am currently working as a Zumba instructor in Weston, FL and recently finish my new certification as Strong Nation by Zumba instructor. This qualifies me to work as an instructor and I am anxious to get started. I am very energetic and easygoing. I have the skills to work with clients to
teach them the techniques and encourage them to get in shape. I have current CPR and First Aid certifications. 

Currently teaching Zumba at Bonaventure Town Center Club in Weston, FL/ All YMCA in South Florida.
