Heather’s career in fitness began almost 30 years ago after successfully completing Fitness Theory and Group Fitness Leader protocols for both the YWCA and BCRPA. Her passion for fitness led her to pursue higher education in the field and that, in turn, led to success as a Personal Trainer, Yoga Instructor, Kinesiologist, Educator and presenter. While active aging is rapidly hitting very close to home (in her own body), Heather’s pursuit of Senior Living and Fitness lead her to become a Life Enrichment provider for senior living. Even after logging thousands of hours as a dedicated and motivating Group Fitness Leader – Heather still enjoys learning and sharing new challenges including Mobility Concerns for the aging population.
