Shayna is a passionate group fitness instructor with a special focus on senior fitness. Driven by a deep desire to help others improve their mobility, strength, and overall well-being, Shayna leads fun, energizing classes designed to meet the unique needs of each individual. Whether it’s low-impact cardio, strength training, or stretching, she creates a supportive and empowering environment where every participant feels confident and motivated to reach their personal fitness goals.
With experience as a Life Enrichment Director in senior living communities, Shayna has taught a wide variety of fitness classes and knows firsthand how important it is to make exercise accessible and enjoyable. Shayna was a supervisor at the University of Iowa Recreational fitness-center, which encouraged her to get certified as a NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) personal trainer. Now Silver Sneaker certified, she’s excited to bring her expertise to a broader audience and continue helping people stay active, healthy, and strong no matter their age.
