Mikaela is originally from Minnesota. Mikaela found her yoga practice in high school when a friend asked her to join. At first she nervously stepped on her mat, and within the hour was intrigued on what yoga provided to her mind, body, and soul. In college she took a course in yoga and continued showing up to her mat to connect with herself and others. Mikaela’s focus as an instructor is to help her students free their minds from citta vrittis. Otherwise called mind chatter, which can distract us from living life to the fullest. She will remind you that yoga helps you become an observer of your mind and gives you the ability to take action from a state of awareness. Mikaela’s class will include breath and body connection, funky flows to great music, and finding your edge. Class will be cooled down to the sound of crystal singing bowls.
