Alexis is a passionate Group Fitness Instructor who believes that fitness should be fun, accessible, and empowering. Her journey into group fitness began five years ago after a wake-up call—her father underwent bypass surgery due to heart disease before turning sixty, despite being in relatively good shape. Determined to take control of her health and fight against her genetic predisposition, Alexis stepped into her first Zumba class. That single step led to a deep love for group fitness, as she explored various class formats and discovered the power of movement, community, and perseverance.
Now, as an instructor, Alexis strives to create the same supportive, encouraging environment that kept her coming back to class. She understands the challenges of starting a fitness journey and works to ensure her participants feel welcomed, motivated, and capable of more than they thought possible. Her classes are designed with three goals in mind: have fun, get a great workout, and leave feeling accomplished—not just for that session, but in a way that makes them excited to return. She wants every participant to walk away feeling stronger, more confident, and eager for their next class.
Beyond the gym, Alexis is an avid traveler who thrives on adventure and connection. Whether she’s scuba diving, waterfall rappelling, or spelunking, she embraces challenges that push her out of her comfort zone—just as she encourages her class participants to do. Travel is more than just seeing new places; for Alexis, it’s about engaging with people, sharing stories, and learning from different experiences. This passion for exploration and human connection carries over into her fitness instruction, making her classes both dynamic and uplifting.
With a deep appreciation for the instructors who shaped her journey, Alexis now pays it forward by inspiring others to move, grow, and find joy in every workout.
