Hello, my name is Maddie and there are two things that I absolutely without a doubt love. Those two things are yoga and travelling. I always lean on these two things to make my soul happy. I have been teaching yoga for 5 years now, and practicing for 10 years. I have travelled all of my life and have visited 18 countries so far.
I strive to make sure that my yoga classes are accessible for every body. I want to spread more positive vibes and self love through the power of yoga. I have found yoga to be extremely helpful in my mental health journey and I want nothing more than to share that with people. I want to change the yoga culture, minimizing comparing yourself to others, and to share the philosophy that your practice is YOUR practice. Not the person next to you, not the instructors, but yours. And the beauty in that is that every body is different, and that shows in a yoga class where different people are coming together at the same place at the same time to move intuitively.
I love to offer meditation techniques in all of my classes. If you're new at meditating and struggle with meditating, you're not alone. I once thought that meditating is not for me because i am "bad" at it. But little did I know that I just needed the right tools and guidance to ease my way into connecting with my meditation practice. I am very passionate about the mind body connection, which has so many benefits.
