I have been a professional tennis instructor for the past 32 years. After graduating with a Sports Marketing Degree from Bowling Green State University in 1992, I started teaching at Shadow Valley Racquet Club in Toledo, Ohio. After two years of being an assitant tennis pro, I became the head pro for the next three years before moving back to Cleveland, Ohio in 1997. I moved to Cleveland to become the Director of Tennis at River Oaks Racquet Club in Rocky River, Ohio. After serving at the Director at River Oaks for 14 years I took the position of Director of Tennis at Paramount Tennis Club in Westlake, Ohio where I have been for the past 15 years.
During my career, I have served as the Director of the Northeastern Ohio Area Training Center. I have been a certified pro with the USPTA, and have served as a ratings verifier for Northeastern Ohio Tennis Association. I have also been the Varsity Tennis Coach at St. Edward High School for the past 24 years. I have also been the key note speaker at several Ohio Tennis Coaches Association annual tennis teaching clinics.
On a personal note, I have three children ages 27, 24, and 21. I was married to my high school sweetheart for 25 years before she passed away due to cancer in 2022. I love to teach and travel, so I thought this would be a great way to accomplish my two greatest passions in life.
