Rachel Kobey

Certified NASM personal trainer since 2003 teaching full time functional personal training with TRX, kettlebells, Bosus, bands, weights, cables, balls, etc.  I love to watch clients find their  own strength, appreciation for the body, and to take control of their wellness and lives.  I train individuals , partners, spouses, families, and group classes.  My goal is to make fitness fun and attainable for all. For many years I worked alongside physical therapists so I could learn to help clients after PT.  As clients gained back their mobility it was invigorating to show them what they could do with all of their body!  I have taught a range of group classes from TRX, boot camp, circuit training, water aerobics, beginner strength training, and Bosu classes.  I love training beginners and older adults so that I can teach proper form and make fitness a part of one’s lifestyle.  I focus with all my individuals on not just strength but core, balance, posture, and flexibility. 

I feel like personal training involves more than the physical as I get to look at the person as a whole.  I support each client in how they were living their life and how they can make healthier choices.  Each client I have been given the gift of getting to know them and all aspects of their lives.  I am more than a trainer as both a supportive friend and coach.
