I was born and raised in a small town just outside of Athens, Georgia, where I discovered my passion for tennis at a young age. My love for the sport propelled me into high-level training, and I’m proud to say I reached the top 50 in the nation as a junior player.

I took my athletic and academic pursuits to Appalachian State in North Carolina, where I became a NCAA Division I student-athlete on a four-year scholarship. During my time there, I had the honor of serving as the captain of the varsity men’s team for two years. In 2012, I was awarded Most Valuable Player and earned all-conference selections in both 2012 and 2013. Simultaneously, I pursued a degree in exercise science, which deepened my understanding of the physical aspects of the game.

While in college, I also worked as an assistant pro at Grandfather Country Club and did some coaching at Beck Tennis Academy. After graduating, I continued my journey as an assistant pro at River Run for three years.

Fueled by my passion for coaching, I co-opened my own tennis academy in Huntersville, NC, where I directed the junior program for two years. Now, I am the director of racquets at Grandfather Golf and Country Club, where I've spent the last three years contributing to our vibrant tennis community.
