Yoga is first and foremost a practice of compassion. My initial relationship with yoga began in childhood, and over the years, it became first a way to help my body to recover from other activities, and then eventually, a way to return to myself every time I step onto my mat. Through mindful movement connected to breath and presence in the moment, I want every student to feel that they belong in yoga. I blend my training in anatomy and medicine with traditional yoga sequencing for unique, accessible practices that benefit everyone. In my view of yoga, it's more important to feel a sense of self-agency and self-compassion than it is to perform a perfect pose. Come find ease and strength, both on and off your mat.
