I bring a high level of adaptability, health and fitness experience as a current Fitness Director at a YMCA, and the energetic personality it takes to be a successful fitness professional. I have engaged in many exceptional learning opportunities that have helped me grow into the individual and fitness professional I am today. Being well rounded is important not only in the fitness profession, but also as a fitness coach. I have always been a very active individual and some of my experiences and hobbies include facilitating a hi/low ropes course, personal training, teaching fitness classes, playing sports, and outdoor recreational activities (hiking, camping, rock climbing, white water rafting, scuba diving and abseiling). Seeing the individuals and families we touch every day is a constant reminder that YMCA’s are a safe place where they can grow in their mind, body and spirit. Branching out and reaching people from all over the world would be an amazing experience for me. Getting people to move while on vacation is a struggle, but it is a goal of mine to provide a fun, yet effective workout for all fitness levels.
