Biography: Diane Karelis
Diane Karelis is a dedicated health and wellness professional with a diverse background in nursing, yoga, and Pilates. A proud graduate of Ryerson University, Diane Karelis earned a Post Diploma Bachelor of Nursing Science in 2009 and became a Registered Nurse. Currently, she serves as a full-time Clinical Community Supervisor for Paramed Home Health Care, where she leads efforts to provide high-quality care and support to clients in the community.
In addition to her nursing career, Diane Karelis is passionate about holistic wellness and has been working as a Yoga Instructor for the City of Richmond Hill since September 2024. She utilizes her extensive experience to motivate and inspire individuals to embrace a healthier lifestyle through yoga. She teaches Gentle Yoga and Hatha Yoga for Strength and Stability. A member with Yoga Alliance since August 2024.
As a certified Stott Pilates Instructor since June 2000, she taught at Integrated Health and Wellness Centre until 2021, where she helped clients strengthen their bodies and improve flexibility through tailored Pilates programs.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Diane Karelis enjoys the company of her two Coton du Tulear dogs, Disney and Daisy. A Disney enthusiast alongside her husband, she enjoys activities such as walking, gardening, and teaching—always seeking to inspire others on their wellness journeys.
