John Amrein

John Amrein is an IPTPA (International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association) certified Master Teaching Professional. He runs eight-hour classes (four on court and four in the classroom) to certify IPTPA professionals. John has worked as a professional in numerous clubs, including three of the most exclusive, in the Philadelphia area. He is current Director of Pickleball, consultant and coach at two new facilities in the past three years. He congenially informs players of their levels and creates programs to improve ratings. He has advised on facility maintenance and repair and implemented player safety protocols. He is known for strong player development from beginner to the competitive levels. His experience as an entrepreneur in the promotions business gives him a strong aptitude for serving clients and club members. His book The Fundamentals of Pickleball has augmented his progressive training. He is certified IPTPA Rating Specialist and familiar with DUPR and other rating systems.
