Kayla Wallace

Kayla began practicing yoga after knee surgery left her couch bound in college. She first leaned on the physical practice of yoga to return to feeling like a strong, able-bodied athlete again.

With a consistent yoga practice, in combination with meditation, Kayla noticed the mental health benefits of the practice and found relief from anxiety and depression. The spiritual and sacred nature of the practice has offered Kayla a sense of grounding, direction, and connection that she strives to share with her students.

Kayla took a deeper dive into the practice when attending a 4-week immersive Yoga Alliance Certified teacher training in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Shortly after, Kayla spent about a year in Nevada City, California studying Ayurveda and enjoying the Sierra Nevada mountains. Kayla has been teaching yoga for nearly 6 years and currently owns and operates a studio in Morgantown, PA. Most recently she became certified in Pilates and teaches weekly mat pilates classes.

Attending a recent yoga retreat in Guatemala has inspired her to take her teaching abroad. She specializes in vinyasa flow classes, with the ability to lead a variety of students in power flow, slow flow, meditation and breath work. She has also co-hosted several retreats and wellness days.
