I began practicing yoga after the birth of my second child in 2012.  I practiced Bikram Yoga multiple times a week for 7 years.  Then the pandemic hit and everything changed.  It wasn't the same practicing on Zoom, so I took a break and moved from Chicago to Indiana with my two daughters in 2020. 

I then began practicing Vinyasa hot yoga almost every day and then my body and mind really transformed; I became physically stronger and much more flexible in a short period of time.  As a single parent, the mind/body/breath connection has done wonders for my life.   

From 2022/2023 I participated in YTT and became certified!  Since 2023, I have taught multiple classes a week consistently which includes but is not limited to; Vinyasa, Restorative, Yin, Yoga with weights, beginner's yoga, and gentle or slow yoga.   Teaching allows me to share my passion and love for yoga.   

In 2024, I became a certified Pilates instructor to add to my repertoire.  Since 2024, I have been teaching Pilates classes as well as Pilates/yoga fusion classes consistently.

I receive positive feedback from the students in my community consistently; I provide a non-judgmental environment with lots of challenges but also lots of grace.  I have great playlists and overall make my classes accessible and enjoyable for all.  

In addition to a regular teaching schedule, I make it a point to continue to maintain my physical health.  I take yoga classes, I walk several miles daily, I take Pilates classes and I stay informed about the yoga community.
