Stacy is a yoga and classroom teacher with deep roots in teaching and learning. As a natural extension of working with teens, Stacy started incorporating mindfulness and movement into her Spanish classes, sports team practices, and assemblies with great success. Then, after informally teaching yoga to her family and friends for years, she decided in 2021 to complete the 200 Yoga Teacher Training and officially expand her teaching to other groups.
Stacy remembers early in her life doing yoga along with “Lilias, Yoga and You,” a PBS show from the 1970’s. She rekindled her love of yoga in 1998 after the birth of her second daughter and credits her yoga practice with building greater empathy, focus, and well-being in all aspects of her life. She has practiced and taught yoga in South Africa, Croatia, Spain and Canada through school and family travels. She persuaded her husband to accompany her to a yoga class in 2012 and he has been a loyal yogi ever since.
Stacy is an active biker, and outdoor enthusiast. She loves working with groups of all ages and abilities to witness the positive transformation when one unites breath to movement and mind to body.
