Katie Hunt is an ASCM Personal Trainer, Certified Functional Strength Coach and Personal Training studio owner. With over 17 years experience teaching group fitness and personal training, Katie is an expert in creating a safe, fun and inspiring space for women to get strong. Katie's lack of athleticism in her youth and experience with various unhealthy habits in her 20’s propelled her to become a specialist in creating great experiences for people who may not be comfortable in the typical gym setting. She designs workouts that focus on body awareness, joyful energy and creating a body that allows one to embrace adventure.
After co-owning The Gym in Riverwest for three years and operating Fun Seeker Fitness LLC for seven years, Katie opened Strength Sanctuary with Matt Drilias in March of 2024 on Milwaukee’s East Side. Her life’s work is to help women discover their strength and power, enabling them to say yes to any adventure they desire. She believes strength, all day energy and endurance are available to most with a few doable habit adjustments. Katie's background includes serving as Fitness Director at the Milwaukee Athletic Club, creating powerful online fitness challenges, teaching fitness at Spire Fitness, AddeoFit, the Downtown YMCA and various corporate locations. She is a trailblazer for the next generation of female trainers, paving the way for them to make personal training a full-time and rewarding career.
Katie offers 1-1 Personal Training, Small Group Personal Training, TRX Circuit Small Group Training and co-teaches Fit&Flow (virtual) with Biz Casmer.
